My first time at Bluestem Brasserie

Daaaaaaaammmmmmn. Are you kidding me. Why did it take so damn long for this place to open? Its kinda the place Ive been dreaming about. Local wines on tap, great beer selection, good drinks and a delicious, original menu.

We had a set, family-style meal for a little family get together. House-cured pastrami sandwiches, crispy duck confit salad with poached duck egg, whole roasted Cyprus dorade, corn and fava succotash, green beans with almonds, fries, and cookie jars. And mimosas. Service: 5 stars. And for dinner this place is poppin. Probably smart to make a reservation. Or go for a drink and relax in the lounge area.

Blue Ribbon Brasserie, New York

Ate at Blue Ribbon Brassserie last night upon arriving in New York.  We got there, gave our name to the host and killed half an hour walking around the block.  We sat at 10:45.  It was well worth the wait; everything was incredible.  I didn’t bring a camera so I’m using some pics from other spots to get the point across.  You’ll just have to go and see for yourselves.
